Why am I seeing more than one post per day?
If you set one slot per day but see several posts going out, it's almost always one of these two settings, not a scheduling bug.
Clips Per Video is set above 1. Automation doesn't create one clip per source video, it creates a batch. If Clips Per Video is set to 4, each new video produces 4 clips, and all 4 need a slot. With only one daily slot, they queue up and fill the next few days instead of spreading one per day as you'd expect.
Multiple automations or channels post to the same calendar. All of your channel automations share one calendar per connected social account. If you have two automations each posting once a day to the same TikTok account, that account gets two posts a day, not one.
To get exactly one post per day from one automation:
Open the automation and set Clips Per Video to
1in its clip settings. See Choosing the Right Clip Settings for what each setting controls.Set the posting schedule for that automation to a single daily slot (see below).
If you run more than one automation into the same account, remember their slots combine, plan one slot per automation, not one slot total.
Credits are used when a clip is created during video processing, not when it's scheduled or posted. The exception is posts to X, which use 1 credit each (refunded automatically if the post fails). Lowering Clips Per Video reduces how many clips are generated per video, but it does not change how many credits a video costs, see How Credits Work.

Extra clips move to the next available slot in future days or weeks.

Empty slots are skipped. Nothing is posted.
