Welcome to the Ssemble Clipper Reward Program! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to participate in projects, create engaging short-form video clips, and earn rewards.
1. Introduction
What is the Clipper Reward Program?
It's an exciting opportunity for you to earn rewards by creating and sharing short-form video clips. Project creators provide original YouTube content, and you, as a Clipper, transform parts of it into shareable clips for platforms like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.
Who is a Clipper?
That's you! A creative individual who participates in reward projects by producing and submitting short video content.
2. Getting Started
Before you can start earning, there are a couple of initial steps:
Accessing the Clipper Reward Dashboard:
You'll find all available projects and your submission overview in the Clipper Reward section of Ssemble.
Setting up Your PayPal Email:
To receive your hard-earned rewards, you'll need to provide your PayPal email address. You'll typically be prompted to do this when you first attempt to join a project or submit content. This is crucial for payouts.
Agreeing to Terms & Conditions:
Before participating, you'll need to review and agree to the Program's Terms & Conditions. This usually appears when you first engage with a project.
3. Finding and Joining Projects
- Browsing Projects: The main Clipper Reward page displays a list of available projects.
- Understanding Project Cards: Each project card gives you a quick overview:
- Video Thumbnail, Original Video Title, Channel Name: Identifies the source content.
- Reward Rate: Shows how much you can earn (e.g., "$1 / 1K views").
- Max Payout Per Clip: The maximum amount you can earn from a single submitted clip for that project, if a limit is set (e.g., "$100" or "No limit").
- End Date: The deadline for the project.
- Budget Progress: A progress bar showing how much of the project's total budget has been paid out to Clippers.
- Allowed Platforms: Icons (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) indicating where your clips for this project can be shared.
- Sorting Projects: You can sort projects to find what suits you best:
- Newest: Shows the latest projects.
- Most paid: Highlights projects that have paid out the most to Clippers.
- Highest CPM: Lists projects with the highest reward rate per 1000 views.
- Filtering Projects:
- Hide Completed: You can choose to hide projects that are no longer active.
- Joining a Project:
- Click the "Join Project" button on a project card to see more details and participate.
- Understanding Project Status:
- Active: The project is currently accepting submissions.
- Pending: The project is awaiting approval and not yet accepting submissions.
- Completed: The project has finished and is no longer accepting submissions.
- Cancelled: The project has been cancelled.
4. Understanding Project Details
Once you click "Join Project," you'll land on the Project Detail Page:
- Original Video Preview: You can watch the source YouTube video that you'll be creating clips from.
- Key Information:
- Channel Name & Video Title.
- Reward Rate & Max Payout.
- End Date & Budget Status.
- Requirements: This is a crucial section! Project creators list specific rules or guidelines for clips (e.g., "include a call to action," "focus on a specific segment"). Read these carefully to ensure your submissions are eligible.
- Allowed Platforms: Confirms the social media platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram) where you can submit your clips for this project.
5. Creating and Submitting Your Clips
After reviewing the project details and requirements, you have two ways to submit your content:
Option 1: Make Clips with Ssemble (Recommended)
- Click the "Make Clips with Ssemble" button on the Project Detail Page.
- How it works: You'll be taken to the Ssemble video editor, where the project's source YouTube video will be pre-loaded. You can use Ssemble's powerful AI tools to easily create engaging short clips.
- Automatic Submission: Clips created and shared directly from Ssemble to the allowed platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram) for the project are typically automatically submitted and tracked for rewards. The system will often handle linking your Ssemble-created post to the project.
Option 2: Submit URLs Manually
- If you've created your clips using other tools or want to submit links directly from your social media posts.
- Locate the "Submit your social media posts" section on the Project Detail Page (you might need to scroll down, or it may be the primary option if you haven't made submissions yet).
- Adding URLs:
- You'll see input fields to paste your clip's URL. Placeholders might show examples like:
- Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/1234567890
- TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@username/video/1234567890
- YouTube Shorts: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1234567890
- The system will attempt to automatically detect the platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) based on the URL.
- Very Important for YouTube: This program only accepts YouTube Shorts URLs (e.g., youtube.com/shorts/...). Regular YouTube video URLs (e.g., youtube.com/watch?v=... or youtu.be/...) will be considered invalid for submission.
- Ensure your URL corresponds to one of the project's "Allowed Platforms." If you submit a URL for a platform not allowed by the project, it will be invalid.
- You can often add multiple URL input fields if you want to submit several different clips for the same project.
- Once you've added your URL(s), click the "Submit" button.
6. Tracking Your Submissions and Earnings ("My Submissions" Page)
The "My Submissions" page is your personal dashboard for tracking all your participation:
- Accessing: Click the "My Submissions" button, usually found on the main Clipper Reward dashboard. You might also be able to navigate here from a specific project page if you've already made submissions to it.
- Overall Performance Summary:
- Total Submissions: The total number of clips you've submitted across all projects.
- Total Views: The combined views your approved clips have received.
- Total Earnings: Your total accumulated earnings from all projects.
- Submissions Grouped by Project:
- Your submissions are typically organized by the project they belong to.
- For each project, you'll see:
- Project Details (Original Video Title, Channel Name, Reward Rate).
- Your Stats for that Project (Number of your submissions, your total views for that project, your total earnings from that project).
- Individual Submission Details: For each clip you've submitted:
- URL: The direct link to your social media post.
- Platform: An icon (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) indicating the platform.
- Submission Date: When you submitted the clip.
- Status:
- Pending: Your submission is under review by the project owner or awaiting automatic approval.
- Auto-Approval: If not manually reviewed by the project owner, submissions are often automatically approved after a set period (e.g., 24 hours).
- Deleting Pending Submissions: You have the option to delete your own submissions if they are still in "Pending" status. Look for a delete button next to the pending submission.
- Approved: Congratulations! Your submission has been accepted and is eligible to earn rewards based on its views.
- Rejected: Your submission was not accepted.
- Rejection Reason: If a submission is rejected, the reason (e.g., "Did not meet requirements," or specific missing requirements) will often be displayed. Review this feedback carefully to improve your future clips.

- Earnings:
- For Approved clips: Shows the earnings you've accumulated for that clip based on its views and the project's reward rate.

- Minimum Payout Threshold: Note if your upcoming payout for this clip is below a minimum threshold required for a transaction.
- Payment History: A log of past payouts for this particular submission, showing dates, paid amounts, and the corresponding view counts at the time of each payout.
7. Getting Paid
- Your earnings are calculated based on the number of views your approved clips receive, multiplied by the project's specified reward rate (e.g., $X per 1000 views).
- Payments are made to the PayPal email address you provided during the initial setup. Ensure this is correct and active.
- Refer to the "Payment Details" section for your individual submissions on the "My Submissions" page for specific information on payouts and history.
8. Tips for Success
- Read Project Requirements Carefully: This is the most common reason for rejections. Make sure your clips meet all specified criteria.
- High-Quality Content: Create engaging, well-edited clips that are likely to attract views.
- Correct Platforms & URLs: Only submit to the project's allowed platforms and use the correct URL formats (especially for YouTube Shorts).
- Learn from Feedback: If a submission is rejected, review the rejection reason. Use it as a learning opportunity for your next submission.
- Be Timely: Submit your clips well before the project's end date.
We hope this guide helps you make the most of the Ssemble Clipper Reward Program. Happy clipping, and good luck with your earnings!
