Project Retention Policy

How long are my projects stored?

Projects are retained based on the last time you edited any clip within them. If 2 months pass without any clip edits, the project is considered inactive and will be deleted.

Will I be notified before my project is deleted?

Yes. You’ll see a expiration notice on your dashboard starting 2 weeks before the scheduled deletion date. This gives you time to return to your project and keep it active if you wish.

Can I receive email reminders about project expiration?

Absolutely. You can turn on project expiration notifications at https://app.ssemble.com/email-notifications. If enabled, you’ll receive an email 2 weeks before deletion (which is 1.5 months after your last clip edit).
