If your clips aren't showing up on your connected accounts, it's almost always one of a few common causes. Work through them in order below.
A clip can only be posted once it has finished generating and exporting. If it still shows as Compiling or Processing, give it a few minutes and check again before troubleshooting anything else.
Social platforms expire the connection between your account and third‑party apps from time to time (for example, after a password change or a long period of inactivity). When this happens, posts silently fail.
Fix: Go to your connected accounts, remove the affected account, and reconnect it. Then reschedule the post.
TikTok applies extra restrictions to apps that are still going through its formal app review. While Ssemble's TikTok integration is in that review process, TikTok caps how many accounts can post through it and how frequently. When a limit is reached, you may see an active user cap or rate‑limit error, and TikTok posts can fail even though YouTube and Instagram are working normally.
This isn't something you did wrong, and there's nothing to fix on your account. Your options while the limit is in effect:
Post your TikTok clips manually — open the clip, download it, and upload it directly in the TikTok app.
Keep using YouTube and Instagram through Ssemble as usual; they're unaffected.
Try again later, as the limit resets over time.
Brand‑new or rarely‑used social accounts can trigger a platform's spam protection if a lot of content is posted in a short window. If your posts are being rejected or held back, see Social Media Account Warm‑Up for how to ease a new account into a healthy posting rhythm.
If you set up a Channel Automation and a new source video didn't result in any posts, the most common reasons are that the automation's virality threshold filtered out the clips, or the destination account fell into one of the cases above. See How to Set Up Channel Automation and Managing Your Channel Automations to review your settings.
If you've checked all of the above and clips still won't post, contact support with the affected clip or project link and the social platform involved, and we'll investigate the specific failure.
